Potty Training, Preschool, Haircuts, Crawling and the Zoo

Well I think we have finally accomplished the feat of potty training. We have been trying for a while but she wanted nothing to do with it. But I think it has finally clicked. She has gone for almost two weeks with a couple accidents but that's to be expected, right? She is even telling us when she needs to go not us reminding her. We bought a little potty to go downstairs and I think she waits till she gets down there and then goes. Silly kid. Her Preschool teacher said that one day she was sitting there and all of a sudden her eyes got wide and she said she needed to go and she did it. I am so proud of her, this has taken quite a lot of time and I think we are finally there.

This is the potty chart we found at Wal-Mart and she has filled up three of them.

Sofie started Preschool a couple weeks ago. She is so cute and loves to go. She has already learned the letters F, C, and P. I picked her up on Thursday and when I asked what she had done she said I put glue on Paul and colored on him. Well I forgot her water cup and when I went back to get it I asked the teacher if she had done that. They said no Paul doesn't sit anywhere near her. I was then able to look at her page for the day and they were working on the letter P and they had taken Paul's picture and put it on her page and she used glue and crayons on his picture. The mystery was solved.

This was the day we were checking out the Preschool.
This is her actual first day without me there. I didn't think it was going to be hard but I was a little teary eyed.

Dad brought up the fact that Sofie needed a haircut so I called and set one up. I didn't want to go to short but when we got there this is what what happened.

After: I think she looks super cute but I was so sad to see all the hair gone. It took us quite a while to get to this point but hopefully this will help her hair come in thicker and that's not just a old wives tale.

Kyle is crawling and cruising like crazy now. I can't keep him out of anything. He especially loves the computer tower. That's fun, he is actually in it right now. But he's not screaming so that is a plus.

It's kind of hard to get pictures of a crawling kid so here are some cute ones of him and George.
Grandma Rock came into town last week and it was her birthday while she was here so we went to the Zoo. We met up with Chris and Alyssa and their two boys Ethan and Alex.

Kyle's shirt from the Zoo. Thanks Grandma.

Alright this post is already long and the kids need baths for church tomorrow. There might be spelling errors and all that but oh well.

I can't believe she is old enough to go to preschool! Time flies. And I LOVE her haircut.
