Sofie was being a ham for the camera yet again. Dad and Sofie were playing around in his truck, she sure was having fun.

Starving child

You would think we are starving our child and she had to resort to eating her feet. She thinks she is so funny, you tell her to stop doing something and she looks at you and laughs. I know we shouldn't laugh with her because it encourages her and all that, but how can you not. She is such a cute kid.

Helping Dad with the dishes

Sofie wanted to help with the dishes. She was mostly just in the way, but she was sure having fun. She started pulling herself up on things. She was climbing up on the kitchen chair today and pulled it down on herself. She was startled but o.k. I couldn't find any bumps or bruises. It took a minute for her to stop crying and realize she was going to be o.k.

The one in the pink jacket is a cute picture of Sofie (which ones aren't). The one with the dog was kind of funny and not at the same time. Sofie was wanting to get at this dog for a while, so Grandpa decided to help her pet the dog. When she was petting him this picture was taken and the dog turned quickly toward the camera. Sofie freaked out, she was crying and shaking. Everyone felt bad, Alyssa's mom (whose dog it is) wanted to know if he had done anything wrong, I think the poor dog was just as scared as Sofie was. Nathan and I don't like dogs so we will probably never own one but we don't want Sofie scared of them, so we had her try again. She was still pretty timid but she got over it rather quickly, then she was fine.

Rock Family get together

We were able to get together after the blessing at our house for a BBQ with the Rock and Oakeson Families. We had a great time visiting with everyone.

I just thought the one after her bath was adorable, I have no idea where she gets the blue eyes from but I am not complaning. I love them. The other picture was one Grandpa took while they watched her so we could go to the Temple. It was raining and the blanket was suppose to keep her some what dry, she had other plans. and the one with her in shorts is just cute. Sofie has also reached some great milestones today. She was actually crawling on all fours for quite a few "steps", she aslo sat up all by herself without the help of anything pulling her up and she was drinking from a sippy cup. One that requires some real effort to get the liquid. We are so proud of her, but we also can't believe how fast the time has gone.

Here are just some pictures that are so cute. Sofie loved the watermelon, she thought it was the greatest new toy. In the picture with the red wall, you can see her 3 teeth. She also has one more coming. We are definitely not having fun with that.

Here are a couple Pictures of Nathan's family. We were able to take these at Ethan's blessing. There are four generations in the two pictures. It was great to have everyone together.

Sofie's Handsome Cousins

O.K. well it has obviously been a while since I have posted. Nathan's family was here for the blessing of little baby Ethan. Nathan's parents left this morning and I was sitting down looking at all the cute pictures that we took this week. The little baby with Sofie is her cousin Ethan. She wanted so bad to get to him and play with him. We had to keep her away becasue we were afraid she was going to hurt him. The other handsome boys are Nathan's sisters boys, Josh and Andrew. We had a lot of fun with the family, but because I haven't posted for a couple days there are going to be a lot coming in the next little while.
