First time at church and other firsts

This was Shayla's first time at church. She wore the same outfit Sofie wore her first day of church. I'm pretty sure it was even the same little tights with the ruffles on the butt.

It is crazy how much Sofie has changed in less than two years.
Well that should be good for now. I was just having fun looking through all the pictures.

Disney on Ice

When Nathan's parents were here we were able to go to Disney on ice. Chris and Ethan were also able to come with us. We had a lot of fun and the kids had a great time. When we go we get the suite from Nathan's work, it's great. There is room for the kids to run and there's a bathroom right in the suite. I tell you it's the only way to go with young kids.

LaDawn made Shayla's sleeper. It has mickey mouse on it. We thought it was appropriate for the show.

I asked our neighbor April if she could paint Sofie's face. She did a mask of flowers that matched her Tinker bell shirt. She then got a Tinker bell tattoo on her arm. Unfortunately I didn't get pics of that.
This kid has got some eyelashes.




She is making the boys look at the camera but manages to not look herself. What a monkey!

Three Weeks

Shayla is now three weeks old. She is already changing and growing so much. Unfortunately Kyle has now entered the (I think) jealousy stage. I don't know if you can tell but she has claw marks on top of her little head. Hopefully this will pass quickly.

Her little cheeks are starting to fill out.

My Mom was able to take some newborn pictures of Shayla. It was quite an ordeal but we got a ton of cute ones. Here are just some of the ones she took.





My Mom also made her blessing dress and LaDawn made her little hat. We blessed her here at home, it was just family so it was pretty low key.

We sure are grateful for Shayla and what she means to the family. The kids love her and can't get enough of her. Kyle can't walk by her without kissing and loving on her.

Halloween and cute pictures

For Halloween Sofie was a poodle skirt girl as she kept saying and Kyle was a construction worker or Bob the builder. Dad and Auntie Em took them around the block. It was so cold and rainy that they didn't go very far. When they got back Sofie's feet were soaked and red from the water. But they had fun.
