My Mom was able to french braid Sofie's hair the other day. I don't know how to this and besides she has barely enough hair. That and I had to put some pictures of her on here too.

Santa Claus

We were able to see Santa at the library story time today. Sofie and Kyle both saw Santa for the first time this year.

Kyle Brian Rock

Kyle decided to surprise us early on Tuesday morning. I woke up around 3:30 with what I was thinking were contractions. I called the on call dr and he said to get ready and go into the hospital to be checked. I was having contractions so he decided to go ahead and do the c-section. We arrived at the hospital around 8:30 went in for surgery at 10:30 and Kyle was born at 10:53 a.m.

perfectly healthy and eats like a champ





We are all home and doing well. Looking forward to our own beds and non hospital food.

Oh, happy day!!

I just paid $1.43 per gallon of gas. I hope this lasts.

Sofie's Daddy and her babies

Here is Sofie with her baby dolls. I think we might have a fight over which baby gets to use this stuff. The real one or her dolls. That should be fun trying to convince her that we needs these things for the new baby.

I just had to put this picture up. This kid sure loves her Dad, what a Daddy's girl. We will see what happens when he is trying to hold the new baby. That should be fun, just cover your ears because I am sure you will all hear it.

We are probably going to be video fools over the next little bit. We haven't used the video camera for a while and I think we will regret it. Hopefully we will get better.

Sofie's Blessing

Tonight we were reading scriptures so Sofie could go to bed. She wasn't listening that well and had her sippy cup of water. She started "pouring" the water on my head and the next thing I knew she was putting her hands on my head and saying "Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Amen. She was giving me a blessing and the water was suppose to be the oil. This kid is a little sponge. She received a blessing the other day when she had a really bad ear infection but I didn't know she remembered that much. We were laughing pretty hard and I think it hurt her feelings a little bit. But we have to be careful or she is going to think that it is o.k. to be laughing during a blessing.
What a cute kid, what would we do without her. Only 29 more days and there will be a new little one to add, I wonder what he will be like. Wow the time has gone by so fast.

Watch what you say!

This morning Sofie and I were suppose to be going Visiting Teaching. We were in a small hurry so I was trying to get her to put her coat and hat on. I was saying "come on Sofie we have to go" and her response was "hold on Mom, Chill out". I was a little shocked. I asked her if she really just said that to me and she said yup. Apparently this is a common saying around our house, I was not really aware of it until Nathan informed me that it is. I know I say it but not so much that she would just come out and use it like I say it everyday. What a stinker, I guess I have to watch even more of what I say around her.
I can't post without putting a picture on here. this is a favorite spot for her to sit.

Halloween and the fire museum

We spent all day in Salt Lake yesterday so we didn't really do the whole trick-or-treating thing. Sofie dressed up and went to two doors and only got one sucker, then it started raining and we ran for home. She was having fun passing out the candy so we let her do that for a little while. The pictures are all fuzzy but here are the best ones we got.

Today we went to the Fire Museum here in Tooele. They have lots of old fire trucks from around the state and lots of collectibles that you can go and see. With Nathan's Grandpa and Great Grandpa being fire chiefs and my Uncle retiring from the LA Fire dept it was fun to be able to go and show Sofie the fire trucks. The older guy that ran it was really nice and talked to us about the things in there and Sofie had a great time playing on the fire truck. You are suppose to bring a donation for entrance but we didn't know that and didn't have any cash so next time we go we will have to pay double.



Sofie was telling me no more pictures Mom. My response tough.
