Family Pictures

We had our friend Christel take some family pictures of the Clark side since Emily just got home from her mission. There were so many cute ones to pick from and Christel did a great job with how many people there were. Here are just a few that we really liked, it was hard to pick just a couple.
Thanks Christel!

long overdue post

This is what happens when Dad has late night meetings that last who knows how long and Mom doesn't care anymore. Pots, pans and fish EVERYWEHERE.

Kyle in his sisters shades.
Pretty sure Kyle should have been asleep here but Dad was at school and mom was done fighting him.
Look at all those teeth.

Sofie will just grab a book and sit and "read" for a long time.
We had a nice couple of days so we went outside and played.
Kyle was eating the chalk.

Sofie was covered in chalk. Oh well good think it washes.

Little Climber

Kyle is definitely our little climber. Every time I turn around he is into something.

These two sure do love each other. Even though sometimes its a little too much.
I love these two little monkeys.

Trying to be domestic & the kids.

In an effort to help the budget and because I am sick of paying $3 a loaf I have started to make my own bread. This was my fist attempt. It was pretty good, a little crumbly like homemade bread can be.
This is my second attempt. We haven't tried it but I am hoping for a little softer fluffier bread. We shall see.

Kyle is one crabby grouch when he wakes up from his naps. This is what he looked like when he woke up the other day. I was trying to get a picture of his hair sticking straight out and managed to catch a dazed and confused look.
This one is just funny.
Sofie got this bike for Christmas this year. The other day we decided to try it out. It was quite a bit colder than I anticipated, about half way through the block she wanted to go home. Uh, sorry dear the only way is to keep going. She make it all the way around and did very good.

And now I am off to make some banana bread. Kyle can't get enough of the stuff.

Two little monkeys

Just thought I would share some recent pictures of the two monkeys.
They were waiting for Dad to come home. They stood here for about 25 minutes. Sofie was trying to teach Kyle the "itsy bitsy spider" song at the same time.
(sofie is standing on the heater vent. That's why her hair is sticking straight out.)

Sofie says...

Yesterday while sitting down for dinner I was asking Nathan if he were in my shoes would he do something. Well, when I first said I mixed it up and said If I were in your shoes instead of the other way around. Sofie then looks at me and says "Mom, Dad shoes are too big for you. They won't fit."

This kid continually cracks me up.

Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam

Out little Sofie is now a sunbeam. Where has the time gone? Not that long ago she was our cute little chubby cheeked baby. Now she is all grown up, still cute but not quite so chubby cheeked. She did awesome today for her first time sitting for two hours at church (I think preschool has helped this). She went right in and sat down, folded her arms and listened (almost) the whole time. The teachers said she did great in class too. She loves singing songs, today she sang I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the Hello song and Jesus wants me for a sunbeam. She will sing at the top of her lungs all day long and I can see these being the songs of the week. Her teachers are the Gubler's, they don't have any kids yet but they do a great job with the kids.
We love out little girl and are very thankful for her. She can be a real sweetheart when she wants. Sometimes she's a real stinker but who isn't? She always tells us Thank you for making dinner. And we really love it when she tells us she loves us out of the blue, which is often.

We love you Sofie.
