One tired little monkey

This is how Sofie fell asleep tonight, I'm glad I had already gotten her ready for bed. This is definitely a first for this little girl. I would say she was really tired.

Poor 2nd child

Here is a cute picture of Kyle. I sure don't have as many pictures of him as I do of Sofie. I will have to be better at that. He is so cute how do I forget to take pictures?

Potty training...

is rough.I think we might almost be there. Yesterday she was dry almost all day. I think her pull-up was wet once, today she has been dry so far all day and were working on going #2 in the toilet. She even went in by herself when I was feeding Kyle and did everything right. What is it with kids and not wanting to go #2 in the toilet? Hence the fish tank, stupid me thought this would be a good reward. I don't know if you can tell but there are no fish. She has to actually do the deed to get the fish. The tank needed time to settle so it worked out great, she has something tempting her but she knows she still needs the fish to complete the tank. (it just might have lots of time to get settled)
I let Sofie go out and play in the back yard the other day, she had a blast. She has been watching Mulan 2 and she was pretending to be Mulan when she is practicing her fighting. We have a horse in our basement, the plastic kind that is still a good size, the other day I heard her down there going at a pretty good clip yelling for Shang, Mulan's boyfriend. What a nut.
She saw an airplane.

First semi completed page!!!

I threw this together in about 30 min. All you experienced digi scrappers can probably tell, but I thought it wasn't half bad. But with those cute faces any page would look great. I don't think it's complete but I wanted to start somewhere. So now you can see that we need to get together and you can share some knowledge. Lissel, Andrea, Melissa, and probably half the ward I need help.


EDIT...now that I look at the page closer I see some things that aren't "right" about this page. I have since fixed them. (see the letter under Sofie's picture? That's gone.)

This was our playdate last week. We had a ton of fun, thanks Melissa and Zoey for hosting. This was the only picture I got with them all even semi facing the direction of the camera. ( and Lissel might have even taken it)

My cute little man (and stupid facebook)

My Mom bought Kyle this little suit. It's size 3 months, the kid is barely two months and it almost doesn't fit him.
He had his two month check-up yesterday. He is 13.8 lbs, thats 90th percentile. Good gravy he's a big kid, but what a cute, sweet and perfect little baby he is.

I joined facebook yesterday, don't tell Nathan but that's pretty much all I've done today. Hopefully it gets old here soon. =)

7:30 Wed night

This is what happens when dad has a meeting after bed time and the house is torn apart to have carpet installed the next day. Plus Sofie wasn't in bed on time and Mom was exhausted. (I didn't feel like fighting her by myself about bedtime, so we waited for dad to come home. Smart huh.)

She looks like we just picked her up out of the woods.


Sofie just figured out how to put up her fingers for two. She is actually quite good at this, call it a hunch but I think she might have been a little tired. (So was Mom, that's why there are so many pictures of this nut.)
