It's Spring!!

The other day Sofie and I went outside and took some pictures by our daffodils. It was a pretty nice day out. Then the next couple of days turned out to be cold, rainy and snowy. Big Bummer. Oh well this weekend should be nice.

Me and George

Sofie got a Curious George doll the other day at Target. And Nathan received balloons for his birthday from his boss that had these eyes on it. Sofie felt the need to pull the eyes of the balloon and attach them to George.Then Nathan felt the need to attach them to Sofie.


Sofie felt the same way.

Aunt Sarah was able to visit us over spring break. Sofie loves having her around, all she has to say is Auntie and Sarah will do just about anything for her. Sarah did her hair in pigtails for Sunday. My baby finally has hair for pigtails. She was so cute.

Jeremiah's Wedding

Another update

I was looking at the pictures and thought I would post some more cute ones. My Mom made this outfit for Sofie, She gave it to Sofie for Her first Christmas and it seemed so big that we thought it would be a while before she could wear it. Well we checked it the other day and it fits. We didn't think it would be this soon. We sure didn't realize she would grow this fast.

Gateway Discovery Museum

We bought a pass to the Discovery Museum today. I told myself that if we could be ready by 9:30 this morning we would go, we made it and had fun. There were a lot of kids there for a field trip and Sofie was one of the smaller ones. It drives me crazy when these kids don't look out for smaller kids, I told a couple of them to get off the toys that were way too small for them. Other than that Sofie loved the plastic cars that you peddle with your feet. She could only go backwards so I backed her into the wall and she didn't move but had fun in the car. At one point I took her out to go do something else and someone starting playing with the car, Sofie had a fit. She was really crying but then She was distracted by something else. On the car ride home she was so close to falling asleep so we sang songs to keep her awake so she would sleep in her crib. Well instead of sleeping right now she is in her crib running back and forth and screeching quite loudly. I guess that wasn't the best plan. I remembered half way there that I had forgotten my camera so no pictures. Next time we go we will take some. (I don't hear anything from her room maybe she finally fell asleep, I have to go check)

Here are some new pictures of Sofie, she is growing up so fast. This last weekend we bought her a "big girl potty" and we ordered her a dresser and bookcase for her grown up room. We aren't really ready to put her in another room but we thought they were cute and pretty good price so we will have them when we need them. She will have white furniture and we will paint the room light purple. She has learned so much lately she talks on the phone with her Grandparents and Aunts and actually talks to them.
Nathan was playing dress up with Sofie with things from her closet, he would put something new on her and she would come out and show me. This was the first picture I took.And this was the last picture I took of her. I think she made close to 20 trips. I don't know if you can see it or not but that is a diaper on top of her head. (clean of course)
This is Lucy the Cox's foster hopefully soon adopted Daughter. Sofie did very well holding her. Of course I was right there and let go of her for maybe 5 seconds.
And then this is what happens when you take the baby from her. She thinks this baby is great she always wants to put her binky in and hold her.
