Happy Halloween

Nathan, Sofie and I went to this neat little place today called Gardner Village. It has all these little shops that are full of really pricey and breakable things that little hands are just itching to grab. But really the shops are full of fun Christmas ornaments and villages and there is a petting zoo and also horse drawn carriage rides with witches as the tour guides. It was a really fun place to go on a slightly cool autumn day. They decorated really neat with all sorts of Halloween items they had fake witches and literally hundreds of pumpkins, it wasn't the scary Halloween either. We took quite a few cute pictures of Sofie today but here are just a few. We might go back when she is wearing a slightly more fall looking outfit, Hope you enjoy.

Fun Games

Sofie, Nathan, and I play a game where one of us is holding Sofie and the other one hides around the corner and jumps out at her. She will grab onto our neck and bury her face in our shoulder and squeal. although in these pictures she is just laughing at us. She is so fun to play with, very interactive now. It is fun to see how much she has grown and changed since she was born. She has also cut two molars this last week, one top and one bottom both on the same side. The poor girl is not feeling well, but who can blame her.

Trip to Idaho

We were able to go to Idaho this last weekend. We had a fun time and were able to help Nathan's Grandparents harvest all their vegetables. They didn't expect the first frost so soon and needed to pick everything or it would all go to waste. Nathan and I had fun, it is funny when you are a kid you don't appreciate things. The smell of the fresh vegetables off the vine almost made me want to eat the things we were picking (almost). They also grow grapes and before we got there they bottled there famous grape juice. Nathan and I drank so much we both had heartburn. Pretty stupid of us. But one of the things you can do with the juice is make jelly, so I made jelly this weekend. It was really good(especially on ice cream). Sofie had a great time with her Great-Grandparents and I am pretty sure they had fun with her. When we were there we got a little snow, here is a picture of Sofie that day and some other fun pictures from the trip. Hope you enjoy.

More Pictures

Here are some cute pictures of Sofie. She was enjoying the Readers Digest, with her laundry on her head. The cute P.J.'s are from Grandma LaDawn, Sofie was trying to pull the little pom pom's off.

I folded

Well we bought a new car and guess what, it's a van. We received in the mail an advertisment for a car dealer and we "won" a gift card if we went in. Well we went to check it out and we walked out with a van and a $5 gift card. Pretty good deal for them but we are wondering what we did. We are good with it though, we wanted something else but it wasn't in the budget, I never wanted a van but in the end I was o.k. with this type of van. I feel lame with one kid and a van but we eventually want some more kids so this will work well for us. Here are some pictures of it.

The ride to Salt Lake & other pictures

Sofie and I were on our way into SL to pick up Dad and she was happy reading her book. She is starting to look so grown up. Here she is in one of the outfits she got for her birthday, with her cell phone. She already is attached to the thing. Oh boy what are we in for.Sofie was playing in the office while I was trying to get some things done. She know she shouldn't be in here but this is now one of her favorite places to play. Maybe because it's off limits.

Princess and the peas

Sofie did not like baby food peas but she loves the real things. Which I know she got from Nathan because they are gross. Just don't tell Sofie I said that. I even tried them again the other day and me opinion hasn't changed. But I am glad Sofie enjoys them. She had to show everyone what was in her mouth.
